The Favourites horse racing market is a sports spread betting type similar to that of the racing indices market above, in that it works on a points-based system. However, you are betting on the outcome of a horse racing meeting rather than one individual race. In particular, you will be betting on the performance of the favourite in each race which will accumulate into a total at the end of the meeting. The horse is awarded 25 points for a win, 10 for finishing second, and 5 points for finishing third. If there are joint or co-favourites for a race, then the lowest racecard number will be selected as the race favourite.
