It is one of the most popular types of bet in sports spread betting and works as follows. Typically, the horse will be awarded 50 points for winning the race, 25 points for finishing second, and 10 points for finishing third. If there are more than 12 runners in the race, then the points for finishing second are increased to 30, and the points for finishing third to 20. There are also 10 points awarded for finishing fourth in such races.
