The winning distances market is a horse racing sports spread betting type that records the distance between the horses that finish first and second in a race. Then all of the races are tallied up to give a winning distance score. If the winning distance is less than a length, then the following rules are applied: nose 0.05, short head 0.1, head 0.2, short neck 0.25, neck 0.3, half a length 0.5, and three-quarters of a length is 0.75. The maximum winning length is capped at 12 for this particular market.
