Tick (sports spread betting)

A tick is a small movement in an odds price, usually when decimals are added. An upward movement in price is an uptick, while a downward movement is a downtick.

A ‘toke’ in poker refers to a small amount of money that is given by the winner of the pot to the dealer. This is seen as a tip and can represent a big majority of a dealer’s income.

If you have a ‘top and bottom’ in poker, it means you have a two-pair hand that has been made with the highest and lowest community cards.
